Endometrial/Uterine Cancer Screening

In general, screening for endometrial cancer is not recommended. In certain cases, such as women with known genetic abnormalities (Lynch Syndrome), screening with an endometrial biopsy is recommended at yearly intervals during the child bearing years.

In all other cases, women without increased risk should understand the symptoms and contact their doctor if the symptoms occur.
